About Us
Pixie Tribe Entertainment was founded in 2015 by Ashley Rastad, also known around Sacramento as “Blossom” or “FAIRY!!!!!”. Ashley has been in the Professional Children's Entertainment industry since 2010 and has literally, thousands, of celebrations under her pocket belt. She has been a Professional Swimming Mermaid at the Dive Bar in Sacramento since 2015. A Sacramento local, she is happily married and mother to two little pixies, both under the age of 7 (and three pixie kitties). Ashley began her career as a professional Faerie in 2010 with a popular bay area company. After 5 years of devoted service and countless encounters with every party situation in the verse, she decided to try her hand at something different - long story short, that didn’t work - children recognized her in the grocery store or walking down the street (even when she was all dressed up to look like a regular human), so she knew something had to be done. Pixie Tribe Entertainment was born.
Blossom LOVES Sacramento and has been repeatedly invited to Perform at such Sacramento staples as the Sacramento Zoo, Crocker Art Museum, Fairytale Town and many more! Blossom is a quick-witted, funny improvisation artist* and strives to make magic and whimsy accessible to all, you’ll even find the grown-ups laughing at her antics. The moments spent at your celebration will be cherished and cared for, because each of those moments are truly important. The team at Pixie Tribe boasts over 30 years of experience in the Children’s Entertainment Profession. Each of our Performers has been trained by Blossom herself.
*improvisation artists are able to flawlessly chat and answer any queries from young friends without missing a beat. They are able to lead Activities and command attention effortlessly. Our costumes are hand crafted with love, each piece thoughtfully designed. Pixie Tribe is licensed, insured and uses only the highest quality, skin safe, cosmetic grade products and proper sanitation techniques.
